The Department of Home Affairs provides the Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) service, enabling visa holders, employers, education providers, and other authorised organisations to check current visa details and conditions. VEVO offers up-to-date information on a visa’s status and key details such as:
- Visa type
- Expiry date
- “Must not arrive after” date
- Period of stay
- Visa conditions (permissions and restrictions)
VEVO only provides information on visas that are currently in effect and does not display details for visas that have expired or are no longer active, including certain bridging visas where the substantive visa remains valid.
This service supports compliance with visa conditions and helps organisations verify visa entitlement effectively.
